Didit Agency Announces New Hires at its Marketing/PR Headquarters in Mineola and Direct Mail Facility in Plainview

Mineola, NY – June 21, 2018Didit, an integrated marketing and communications agency headquartered in Mineola, New York, is pleased to announce today the hiring of three new directors at the firm. Vanessa Arnone will fill the role of Digital Account Director and Kelly Ward will serve as Director, Media out of the Mineola office. Joshua Smith will be a new Account Director at Didit DM, the agency’s direct mail facility in Plainview.

In Vanessa’s new role, she will be responsible for providing strategic counsel and recommendations to Didit’s clients in order to heighten their brand awareness, generate positive results and increase their return-on-investment. She will serve as a client facing consultant to identify, plan and assess integrated marketing campaigns to ensure that goals and results are achieved.

Prior to joining Didit, Vanessa created and ran the digital communications department for 15-time Grammy-award winning artist Alicia Keys. In this seven-year role, she developed unique strategies that attracted a global audience of 75 million and significant press coverage. Vanessa’s career also includes a decade at Classica International, a global importer/exporter of high-end kitchenware. There, she combined her Spanish fluency, financial know-how and marketing prowess to launch recruiting- and purchase-driving tools tailored to Spanish-speaking cultures and rapidly build brand visibility. Vanessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Hofstra University, as well as an array of digital media course certifications from New York University.

In Kelly’s new position, she will be responsible for display media strategy and buying as well as online campaign generation, optimizations and reporting on performance metrics. She will also serve as a client facing team member for providing overall digital media clarity and developing strategic plans. Kelly will plan both direct and programmatic media buys, and ensure that clients understand and successfully meet their media goals.

Prior to joining Didit, Kelly served as Senior Account Manager at Criterion Global, a leading international ad buying consultancy. Other past work experience included managing high-profile retail clients such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Phillips-Van Heusen and Hallmark in addition to luxury travel brands in a variety of roles. She has extensive media experience in the negotiation, mapping and execution of display marketing campaigns, as well as in database management and audience selection. She maintains Facebook Blueprint Certification and pursues display and programmatic training with Google and other platforms. Kelly is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology.

In Joshua’s new role at Didit DM, he will be responsible for client service as well as business development, cultivating, nurturing and maintaining long-term client relationships. He will serve as a client facing consultant to provide strategic guidance on an ongoing basis while anticipating and proactively addressing client needs, and work with internal and external partners to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.

Prior to joining Didit DM, Joshua served as Senior Account Manager at RICG, a neuro-creative agency advancing marketing into the cognitive intelligence space, and later at CCG Marketing Solutions following its acquisition of RICG in 2017. Joshua has 24 years of experience in the direct marketing industry, specializing in print, direct mail, email and web development. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, both in the financial and commercial fields, overseeing and managing an array of projects from concept to completion. Joshua completed coursework in graphic design at the Hendricks Institute.
