The Apple Watch (AKA “iWatch”) is possibly the most revolutionary device to hit computerdom in years, the greatest folly since the Edsel, or a bore we’ll forget about by Memorial Day.
Will luxury buyers consider shelling out thousands for a device that will be obsolete in a short time? Are Apple’s efforts to reinvent itself as a luxury brand laughable, or brilliant? The fate of the Apple Watch will surely tell an important part of this tale.
