Given the fact that most of us are active on more than one social network, it can be maddening to keep one’s attention focused on social data that is actually important to us. Enter Mashfeed, a service providing an easy way to organize social content. “Mashfeeds” combine content from relevant users, hashtags, social channels, and other topic-driven data. Additionally, hashtags can be filtered by individual users.

Mashfeed’s booth was one of the busiest we saw at NY Tech Day 2014, thanks to its crowd-drawing “Selfie Station” inviting show attendees to snap a selfie with an eclectic backdrop featuring a batch of selfie-taking celebrities. We spoke to Adam Mashaal, Mashfeed’s founder, who filled us in on what’s special about the Mashfeed service.
